There is no archeological proof for where & when he was born. Thirukural which consist of 1330 kural (short poem which has exactly seven words) is the tamil ethics by Thiruvalluavar. This work itself does not claim any author name. Valluvan is tamil common name and Thiru means honorable and hence the name Thiruvalluvar. It is not any religious oriented so it is translated in many languages around the world.
